BEATLES UK – With the Beatles LP, Medium size Stereo logo Sleeve.

PCS 3045 – original  Black and Yellow Parlophone labels.

A UK album in 100% original condition featuring:

1. it is thought that these hard to find medium size Stereo logo sleeves were printed around mid 1964, and they only appeared for a very short while. Some say they were a printing error, it is curious that NO medium size Mono sleeves of this album were ever printed !.

2. the sleeve to the rear features the later corrected spelling of  ‘got a’  for the song ‘You really got a hold on me’,  but on the record label on side two  this song in spelt  ‘Gotta’  hold on me !

3. on side two on the record label the publishing credit for the song ‘Money’ is shown as ‘Jobete’, this apparently was a mistake and was soon corrected.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE:  is in near very good condition, the front is laminated.  The spine is in very good  condition and all the text can be read.  The rear of the sleeve has remained clean for its age.  The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. There is a 20mm tear to the front centre opening edge (only) These are NO splits,  stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. 

THE INNER SLEEVE:  is in very good+ condition and is the correct period original Emitex sleeve.  A very clean sleeve for its age.  The sleeve has  NO  pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue. 

THE VINYL:  is in good++ condition, the vinyl has remained dark and reasonably glossy. 

The matrix  nos. are:  YEX  110 – 2  and  YEX  111 – 2,

The Mother/Stampers are:  ‘  2       A R   ’   and    ‘ 2       R T  ’.

THE AUDIO:  is very good, it plays with some crackle and some light ‘ticks’.  The vinyl lays flat on the turntable and plays well without any sticking or jumps from the needle.

THE LABELS:  are in excellent condition,  the letters ‘ K T ’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The labels are free from pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
