BEATLES UK – original Mono White Album, numbered sleeve LP.

1968 PMC 7067/7068 -  apple record labels.

A UK first pressing top loading Mono copy with a unique serial number of  ‘ No. 0288499’ and featuring:

On side two on the record label there are the letters ‘K T’ embossed around the spindle hole.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the double album gatefold sleeve has a very nice glossy laminate. On the front it has an embossed Beatles logo and a unique individual SERIAL number of No. 0288499, this number appears very clear and bold. To the rear top right there is no ‘logo’ printed proving this to be a genuine MONO sleeve. The spine is in near excellent condition and all the text can be read. The sleeve features two visible flipbacks when the sleeve is opened, these flipbacks are all excellent and well stuck down. When the sleeve is opened it is very glossy, clean and tidy. The rear of the sleeve is also very clean and glossy. There are NO splits, tears, stains, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE INNER SLEEVES: are the two original APPLE black inner sleeves and have not been replaced. One sleeve is in near excellent condition with just one small tear, 10mm to the front top opening edge and some very small ‘nicks’ to the back opening edge, there are NO edge splits. The other sleeve is in excellent condition, with just some small ‘nicks’ to the back opening edge, there are NO edge splits or other tears.

THE POSTER: the original poster is in excellent+ condition. There are NO tears, splits, all the folds are excellent, NO sellotape / residue, pin holes, blue tack residue, stickers or sticker residue. There are some light age spots to the poster here and there.

THE PHOTOS: the original four photos are in excellent condition. The photos are made from the original thick card. Theres NO pen writing, creases, pin hole damage, tears, sellotape / residue, blu tack damage. The rear of the photos have remained an excellent clean white.

THE VINYL: record one is in near excellent condition, record two is in excellent condition. The records are made of the original ‘thick and heavy’ vinyl.

The matrix nos. are:  XEX   709 – 1,  XEX  710 - 1, XEX  711 - 1 and  XEX 712 - 1.

The Mother/Stampers are:   ‘ 2 9  G M P ’,  ‘  3  A G  ’, ‘ 6  G G P ’ and  ‘  6  O H ’.

THE AUDIO: side one plays near excellent with some light crackle and I did hear some light ‘ticks’ towards the end of the track ‘Glass Onion’.  Side two plays near excellent, it plays with some light crackle and I did hear some light ‘ticks’ on the track ‘I’m so tired’.  Side three plays near excellent, it plays with some light crackle and I did hear some light ‘ticks’ towards the end of the track ‘Everybody’s got something to hide except for me and my monkey’. Side four plays near excellent with some light crackle. Each record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: labels one, three and four are in near MINT condition. Label two is in excellent++ condition. As this is a very first pressing two of the labels feature the original DARK green apple colours. All the labels show the text ‘Sold in the UK’ etc, the George and Ringo songs are listed as ‘Apple Publishing’. All four labels have the text, ‘An EMI Recording’. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
