THE BEATLES ORIGINAL VINYL SINGLE 1963 - 45-R 4983 - PLEASE PLEASE ME - 1st PRESSING
First Original UK Pressing The Parlophone Co. Ltd printed around label rim Dick James Music Co Ltd on label Recording first recorded 1963 on label Made in GT. BRITAIN on label. PMT tax code impressed on label and on vinyl on run off area showing an early pressing
Original multi-coloured sleeve, some creasing, no tears Matrix codes on vinyl Side 1 1GA Side 2 2GO - early matrix numbers Labels would be Ex with very little wear. However the grading has to be reduced to VG+ because of the owners name written on both sides as seen in photo. Vinyl is A side Ex- and B side Ex condition and plays well without jumps or clicks
In summary this is a reasonable copy of this single considering it is nearly 60 years old. It is a shame the persons name has been written on the label. I am not sure whether this could be removed but I do not intend to try. It is unfortunate that in the 60's it was common to write names on records to identify your own. Unfortunately because of the writing it has to be downgraded to VG+ overall
