Description

THE BEATLES 'WHITE ALBUM' ORIGINAL UK late 1968 STEREo

Great original UK pressing of stereo PCS 7067/7068 from late 1968, The Beatles Double LP-The Beatles "White Album".  The fully laminated SIDE-loading non-flipback gatefold jacket has very minor wear to the opening edges and slight scuff to center corner, so EX.  Number 292703, so not one of the earliest but one of the much rarer side openers -  PLEASE NOTE! THESE NUMBERED SIDE OPENING ORIGINAL G&L COVERS WERE THE LAST ISSUES PRESSED WITH THE NICE THICK AND HEAVY VINYLS AND ARE BECOMING EXTREMELY SCARCE AND VERY COLLECTABLE AS THERE WERE NOT AS MANY OF THESE ISSUED COMPARED TO THE ORIGINAL TOP OPENING COVERS!! DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE RARITY OF THIS ALBUM WITH AWESOME VINYLS! THE RECORDS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN STORED IN PLASTIC LINERS WHICH ACCOUNTS FOR THEIR WONDERFUL CONDITION. EXCELLENT DIE-CUT LABEL OPENING BLACK LINERS WILL BE SUPPLIED WITH THE RECORDS. The poster is missing but I stress again, the vinyl is very close to mint, only having been played once to my knowledge. I have posted only a photo of inner gatefold sleeve & one of the front cover, showing the copy number, but can supply more. First issue matrix nos. YEX 709-1 / YEX 710-1 / YEX 711-1 / YEX 712-1, with no rills between tracks (ie no track separation).  It would take a long time to find a copy as good as this.  Sounds fantastic, better than mono if the music quality matters to you. Please get in touch if you require more info, pics etc. or if you have a problem with a bid. This is a reluctant sale as I am a genuine lifelong private collector but now simply don't have the time to enjoy my rare old vinyl records.
