Very Early Stampers
Earliest 1st pressing with the 'Sold in U.K.' text on all 4 sides
and no 'An EMI Recording' on any of the sides
Cover: Garrod & Lofthouse UK pressing mono top loader without the 'stereo' text on the rear cover. Embossed 'The Beatles' and nice clear number. No writings, doodles or seam splits. Great physical shape. Some age yellowing and light staining on rear cover - see photos.
Black inner sleeves: Like most of these, there is some edge-wear and wear around the die-cut holes.
Poster: No writings or doodles. Some wear along the crease lines and just a little grubby on the rear 'lyric' side.
Spacer: No writings/doodles. Just a couple of creases.

Labels: Excellent - both records have a name on the label - see photos.
Vinyl: Play tested. Thick 1st pressing vinyl. Looks Very Good+ with a few light marks & non-feelable hairlines. Nice sheen. No skips/jumps on my system. A little crackle on the run-in and between tracks/quiet moments as often happens with all vinyl of this age. Just the odd clicks/pops. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent. These 'White Album' records were played to death because it is such a great record and they are so hard to find in nice condition - but this has to be one of the best I have heard in a long time. Sounds great now but will probably sound even better with a clean.

Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
