THE BEATLES
1978 WHITE ALBUM ~ FRENCH WHITE VINYL PRESSING
APPLE RECORDS ~ SMO-2051/2 ~ STEREO
This set is the rarest of the White Vinyl pressings with its speckled finish off-white jacket and more see through white vinyl as opposed to the US and German or UK pressings which are a more solid white. The set is complete with the original photos and a poster in great condition.
VINYL is VISUALLY GRADED as EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT and PLAY GRADED as NEAR MINT MINUS there are a couple of hairline scratches on sides One on both discs (they are both tagged with Sides One and Two as theach LP has a different catalog number, only the USA pressing has sides 1, 2, 3 and 4), these marks do not cause pops or repeating clicks....just a couple of random tics (small clicks). The B sides of both are more like Near Mint and play accordingly. A very nice set overall.
JACKET Grades as NEAR MINT There is a No ring wear on the front or back, NO scuffing, NO seam splits, wrinkles or wear although the title seam is starting to show age with a single crack in the overlaying paper slick and some fading on the titles.
POSTER and PHOTOS are all MINT MINUS with very light handling wear
