ORIGINAL 1968 UK MONO TOP-OPENING NUMBERED PRESSING.

WITH DARK GREEN LABELS AND "SOLD IN UK" LABEL TEXT.

MATRIX NUMBERS: XEX 709-1 / XEX 710-1 / XEX 711-1 / XEX 712-1

WITH ORIGINAL BLACK INNER SLEEVES

PLEASE NOTE THE POSTER AND THREE PRINTS ARE FROM A LATER PRESSING. THERE IS NO JOHN LENNON PRINT AND THE OTHER THREE APPEAR TO BE AN ODD SET AS THE GEORGE HARRISON PRINT IS A LITTLE SMALLER THAN THE OTHER TWO.

Records: Side 1 is VG, there is a scuff mark across the side but this has no effect on play at all, the vinyl has nice sheen and plays very well, close to EX with great sound. Side 2 is in VG(+) condition, again nice and clean with full sheen, plays very well, close to EX. Side 3 is in VG++ condition, nice clean with full sheen, plays very well, close to EX. Side 4 is VG on account of a scratch which extends through the first 3 tracks, this can be heard as a soft intermittent pop in tracks 2 and 3 but it is not loud and intrusive and the music is still really clear and dominant. All in all a very decent playing copy with clean vinyl surfaces and no distortion.

Cover: The cover is in VG+ condition, solid copy no splits some stains to corners - see photos. The inners are VG+, one has a small tear around the centre hole and the start of a very small split to the bottom. The other has a 3"split to one side. The poster is EX+ but is from a later pressing. The three prints are EX+ but again from a later pressing (or at least some of them as the George Harrison print is a little smaller when held against the other two).
