This is a rare opportunity to own an original and early numbered Beatles white album in a mono pressing.
CONDITION
VINYL - VG+ to Excellent I understand there has been one owner before it came into my possession. From the labels and appearance of the vinyls it does not appear to have been played very often. The labels are in excellent condition and the vinyl has a nice sheen. Both records also play very well.
Some records have "An EMI recording" on the label of some or all sides. These don't have any which, from my experience is quite rare?
INNER SLEEVES - VG+ to Excellent Each record is in it's original black sleeve. Give that these were notorious for tearing, they are in really good condition with on of them having a small perforation at the opening, hardly noticeable.
PHOTOGRAPHS - VG+ to Excellent All photographs are in excellent condition. The previous owner had though decided to neatly write the appropriate first name on the rear. (See photo). Otherwise near pristine, Ringo has a slight crease around the top right edge of the print but not over his image
POSTER - VG+ TO Excellent Again, kept in very good condition. If you inspect closely the only thing stopping this from being pristine is some small brown blemishes or discolourations. There are no tears or creases, marks, pin holes or blu tack marks. It looks like it has been kept in the outer sleeve for the last 45 years
OUTER SLEEVE - VG+ The Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold sleeve has retained it's white appearance well. The print number is clear on the front of the sleeve. The embossed The BEATLES is clear but with a slight scuff on the bottom of the letter E. There is a little creasing and "browning" around the edges. The spine lettering is clear, (The BEATLES Stereo PCS 7067-8 Mono PMC 7067-8) with no cracking
