BEATLES - WITH THE BEATLES MONO RE-ISSUE NEW/SEALED LP

This is one of a number of vinyl albums and EPs -- some new and still-sealed, some rare -- that I am listing for auction. 

This item is a new and sealed vinyl LP re-issue pressing of the second album by The Beatles, entitled With the Beatles.  This title was originally released in 1963 on Parlophone / EMI Records, but this pressing is by Parlophone / Apple Records.  As a Beatles fan for literally as long as I can remember – and I can remember seeing Help! At a drive-in movie theatre during its original release in 1965 – I have amassed a large Beatles collection.  As a teenager, though, I had access to a great record store that stocked import LPs.  So, I became a Beatles import pressings snob, collecting the British releases (which, at least until Sgt Pepper’s, differed dramatically from the US releases). In fact, I still think of the albums in their UK configurations, not in their US tracklists.  This is a recent vintage re-issue of the mono version of With the Beatles.  This album was the follow-up to the wildly-successful first British LP, and formed the core basis for what would be released in the US as Meet the Beatles.  The mono versions of the songs differ in a number of respects from the Capitol stereo mixes that most everyone in the US would be familiar with, and I actually prefer them on most of the Beatles albums through the White Album. 

As noted above, this pressing is in new and sealed condition, as shown in the photo.        

NOTE:  Sealed items are collectible because they are sealed.  Since I do not own a store, I cannot return items to the manufacturer.  Once opened, I cannot refund the purchase price in full because opening significantly affects its value. 

I do not use stock photos.  The photo shows the actual item up for auction.

NOTE:  Due to the present rules under Paypal, I can now ship internationally ONLY VIA PRIORITY MAIL.  If you are outside the US, Priority International is the standard shipping, due to the fact that under Paypal rules, delivery tracking must be included on EVERY package outside the US.  The cost depends upon the weight and the country of destination.  I will provide the cost for each option in my post-auction invoice (and, again, I can provide the info during the auction, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of records).  To Canada, it will be $21.50USD for one LP.  To most other countries, it will be about $29.50USD for one LP.  I recognize that this will result in much higher shipping costs and I apologize for this change, but it is necessary under the Paypal rules now in effect. If you have any questions about this policy, please send me an e-mail via My eBay.  If you do not accept this shipping requirement, please do not bid.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty years (education expenses – and soon-to-be college expenses -- are the reason I am selling my collection...). 

The shipping costs are as follows: $4.00 for one LP via media mail to anywhere in the U.S.   Each additional LP is an additional $0.40 for media mail shipping.  Priority shipping within the U.S. is a function of weight and postal zone, and I will e-mail an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of LPs). 

Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again my invoice will provide the cost information. 

NOTE – there is no tracking of packages through the USPS without delivery confirmation.  If you would like tracking ability, you must purchase delivery confirmation for $0.75. 

International Buyers – Please Note:

·         Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

·         Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

·         These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

·         We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

I will always combine items, so that your shipping costs will be more manageable.  Payment may be made by paypal.  If I do not receive payment for an item within fifteen (15) days of the end of the auction and I do not hear from you in response to e-mails, I will consider the auction results void and relist the item(s) for auction.
