Description
Up for auction is an acetate of You Know My Name (Look Up The Number) b/w What’s The New Mary Jane. This single was recorded by The Beatles, and was slated for issue in 1969 as a Plastic Ono Band release, but was eventually cancelled at test pressing stage (there are maybe a dozen test pressings out there). This copy is a two-sided "Emidisc" acetate of dubious authenticity, but will do as a placeholder until you find one of those test pressings. In its favour, I had it valued over 20 years ago by noted rock n roll auction house Cooper Owen, who valued it at £1000 (I will enclose the relevant paperwork).
Condtion: a few marks on both sides, but nothing to seriously affect play. Sounds OK. VG.
I use a 10-point grading scale: M-, EX, VG+, VG, VG-, G+, G, G-, F, P. I never use the grade mint for used records. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. I grade carefully & pack securely, but if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence! Any questions? Need any more photos? I'm only an email away.
Tracked shipping: £10.80 (UK), £14 (Europe), £16 (ROW). Check my other auctions; combine orders & save on shipping!
