Description
This is the SCARCE 1978 CAPITOL RECORDS U.S. WHITE VINYL PRESSING of the all time classic 1968 2 LP set titled 'The Beatles' (AKA 'The White Album'). It is Capitol Records U.S. catalog number SEBX-11841, gatefold cover. The originally included poster and individual pictures of the four Beatles are both present and included. Records come packaged inside the gatefold cover in plain white paper inner sleeves.

I wish I could say that this rare white vinyl issue was in better condition - Personally I don't understand how a collector can spend the extra money to buy a rare issue and then mistreat it, but it is what it is. This set in VG+ or better condition usually goes on eBay for between $60 and $100 and up, I have tried to price this set as modestly as I could given its rarity and collectability versus its condition.
Condition of record 1 is a low VG due to the presence of a surface scratch on the last half of the track 'Martha My Dear' that extends into the first few revolutions on 'I'm So Tired' that will cause fairly loud ticks for its length, no skips. Record 1 would otherwise be in VG+ condition with a few other surface marks that cannot be felt and will not affect play. Record 2 is in VG+ condition with a few surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play. Condition of cover is visually about VG- / high G with the main flaw being sone prominent wrinkles on the front album cover. Cover also has some ring and contact wear and some wear along the edges and on the corners, no splits or other flaws. Poster is intact but has a large number of small light brown mildew spots and some light wrinkles, no tack holes or tears. The four individual Beatle pictures are in VG+ condition with a few slight wrinkles and small creases and a little age discoloration to their paper stock.
This would be an economical way to add this scarce and sought after white vinyl pressing to your Beatles record collection!
