Disc one was VERY GOOD(+) with a little background crackle though this was never constant.
Disc two played better and was EXCELLENT with minimal interference. Very few, if any, pops on either disc.
Overall, the records delivered great sound and were a pleasure to listen to.
VINYL (VISUAL): EXCELLENT; both records look great with just very light superficial marks and hairlines noticeable under bright light. All four sides have retained a lovely shine and the records have clearly been well cared for over the years.
All four labels are NEAR MINT; bright and clean with no writing, rips or tears and just minimal signs of use. Superb.
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT(-); the sleeve is a super example and remains very white. Just very light storage marks to the exterior + a tiny bit of mild ring wear. There is a storage mark/line along the vertical edge to the rear. 'The Beatles' is clean and clearly embossed to the front. The interior centrefold also looks great with just light signs of age and some mottling across the 4 portraits (this is possibly a printing error).
There is just very light wear to the opening edges. The spine has some wear and scuffing but most text remains legible. Overall, the sleeve looks great.
POSTER, PRINTS & INNERS: The poster is in super unused shape and grades as EXCELLENT. It has interesting differences to the UK version in that it is censored in 3 places. The John & Yoko cartoon has been removed and the nude John and Paul photos have been censored. Just light signs of handling and creasing. No splits at all. Looks great.
The 4 prints are also in great unused condition with minimal light signs of handling; all grade at least EXCELLENT with just a tiny bit of age foxing to the rear.
The fragile original black inners are both in nice condition. Both have crumpling/creasing and tiny minor splits to the top corners. Overall fine. I will provide new inner sleeves in addition.

GRADING
Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.
Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.
I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.
I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.
POSTAGE / SHIPPING
I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.
For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.
As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
