Description
UK top opening sleeve complete with 4 photos, poster & both original black inners.
Mono PMC 7067/8 with no “EMI recording” on the labels
matrix numbers: -1/-1/-1/-1
mothers / stampers: 1 P / 1 O / 3 HR / 2 HG
The vinyls still have some shine, they are not ‘dulled’. Under strong light there are plenty of light marks / scuffs and side 2 has a couple of feelable scratches.
All 4 sides play through without jumps or sticking. There is some surface noise in places, mainly in some of the run ins / gaps between some of the tracks
side 1 looks VG, there are a few soft clicks in “while my guitar gently weeps”
side 2 looks Good, has some clicks on several tracks, the most prominent are a few at the start of track 2, some on track 6 and loud clicks throughout track 7.
side 3 looks VG+ plays well, has some soft clicks on “Mother Nature”
side 4 looks VG+, plays fine
the top opening gatefold sleeve is in VG- condition with slight creasing & general wear. In addition the upper half of the outer spine has split along the centre and has been carefully glued - as the spine is double layered, there is no evidence of the split inside the gatefold. See last 2 photos.
the 4 photos are excellent, no rips , some staining on the rear of one.
the poster is intact although there are partial splits on some of the folds.
the original black inners are quite heavily worn with splits and creases although they are all intact. All edges have splits of varying sizes in the middle although none are split along the whole length.

The records have been cleaned on my Pro-Ject VC-S vacuum machine and are now stored in brand new lined inners.

Gradings refer to the UK Record Collector Magazine standard (shown below). I would only use "mint" for genuinely unplayed records. Visual grading is done under a spotlight. Play testing is done on a pro-ject turntable.
If buyer is not satisfied for any reason please contact me, I will refund on safe return of item.
Record will be packaged in a proper mailer with stiffening.
Mint (M) - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX) - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G) - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
