Description
Up for auction is a copy of The Beatles aka The White Album, released in 1968 on Apple, cat no SWBO 101, a US pressing. This is an original 1968 numbered edition (no A1722965), with poster/lyric sheet and four portraits. It also includes the very rare track listing sticker affixed to the front cover. Additionally, side two label has “Racoon” misprint. I believe it’s a Scranton pressing.
Condition: all four sides are quite marked, but everything plays through without jumps or sticks (though with clicks & pops). Labels have name written in pen. Cover has much wear & seam splitting, but no writing. Sticker is complete & has no tears etc. Poster has one repaired split and some handling creases, but is otherwise fine. Portraits are in great condition. All round: G+/G/VG/EX (vinyl/cover/poster/portraits).
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence! Any questions? Need any more photos or an audio sample? I'm only an email away.
Payment: UK- bank transfer (preferred) or Paypal. Rest Of World- Paypal. Email for other accepted methods of payment. Shipping: £4.50 (UK 1st class), £5.50 (UK recorded), £8.50 (Europe) £14.50 (rest of world-airmail). Check my other auctions; combine orders & save on shipping costs!
