1963 PARLOPHONE MONO

 MKT!! DARKER RARER COVER!!

   One of The Beatles most sought after LPs ever and getting VERY hard to find now!  This one is made even rarer still - as it has the RAREST 'Darker Cover' (where the Beatles faces were too dark & grainy and almost immediately corrected!), and an ULTRA RARE 'MKT' Tax Code on the label (later ones have 'KT' instead!).


  VERY VERY EARLY PRESSING INDEED (IN THE FIRST 2 WEEKS OF RELEASE!):- WITH 'YELLOW/BLACK' PARLOPHONE LABELS, 'FIRST PUBLISHED' LABEL TEXT, 'LARGE' MONO ON THE COVER FRONT, RAREST 'DARKER COVER' (WITH OBSCURED AND GRAINY BEATLES FACES!), RAREST 'MKT' TAX CODE (LATER ONES HAVE 'KT' INSTEAD!), 7N/7N MATRIXES (WITH VERY EARLY 1/1 MOTHER CODINGS!), 'GOTTA' MISPRINT ON THE COVER BACK (LATER CORRECTEOND!), AND A 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' MONO SLEEVE

Vinyl condition: near MINT!!! with NO marks,or scratches Has just 1 or 2 very tiny feint lines visible.

The Playback is SUPER with NO jumps, sticks or pops

Front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Sleeve condition: EXCELLENT with NO storage wear to the edges and corners.The spine is perfectly straight and clearly readable.The sleeve has some light laminate creasing mainly towards the edges.

Labels condition: near MINT with a few very light spindle trails visible.

Matrix numbers: XEX 447-7N   XEX 448-7N

The vinyl is housed in the original poly lined Use Emitex inner sleeve in EXCELLENT unsplit condition.(has some ageing and a little writing)

Record collector grading system: Record Collector Grading System

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
