Description
Yellow Submarine LP by The Beatles Stereo
This Stereo Vinyl LP is on the Dark Green Apple label. The Vinyl Disc comes in the ORIGINAL black inner, and is housed in the 1st Issue Garrod and Lofthouse Three Flipback sleeve. This has ***2 RED PARALLEL LINES*** .
SLEEVE
The front laminate is nice and bright and clean looking, with just a bit of light creasing and a few nicks at the spine edge. The spine itself is in great condition, with the words 'The Beatles - Yellow Submarine' crystal clear. On the reverse, the ***2 RED PARALLEL LINES*** are present. All three flipbacks are in secure condition, with just a few creases/nicks along the bottom. The sleeve comes in a protective polythene outer cover, and grades as ***EXCELLENT*** .
INNER
This is the ORIGINAL BlackInner. Creasing is very minimal.There is a one and a half inch tear at the right hand record edge, and a tear at the bottom edge. There are a couple of light nicks at the centre hole.I would grade the inner as VERY GOOD.
LABELS
Both labels are in SUPERB condition!! There is NO centre hole scuffing on either side. On Side 2 there are just a couple of very light wispy spindle marks. Side 1 easily grades as ***MINT*** , and Side 2 as ***CLOSE TO MINT*** .

Matrix Numbers and Stamper Codes
Side 1
Matrix YEX - 715 - 3 Stampers '1' at 7 o'clock and 'GN' at 1 o'clock.
Side 2
Matrix YEX - 716 - 1 Stampers '3' at 12 o'clock and 'OT' at 7 o'clock
I have examined both sides under VERY STRONG SUNLIGHT, and I have been unable to find ANY flaws at all - not even paper scuffing!! I have no hesitation in grading the vinyl as ***MINT*** .
AUDIO
The Stereo sound is SUPERB - TRULY STUNNING!! On Side 1, the various sound effects on the title track 'Yellow Submarine' are AWESOME!! All tracks play superbly well, and all of the 'silent' bands and fadeouts are VERY QUIET. This side grades as ***CLOSE TO MINT***. On Side 2, some soft background crackle can be heard on 'Pepperland', 'The Sea ofTime' and 'The Sea of Holes', and there are some soft clicks on 'TheSea of Monsters'. This is very surprising, as the vinyl looks visually MINT. I would grade this side as ***EXCELLENT*** .

I am privileged in having very sensitive Hi-Fi equipment, which shows up any slight flaw, so I feel that I am able to grade records accurately.
