Description
THE INFAMOUS
YESTERDAY & TODAY
"BUTCHER"
CAPITOL ST-2553
(STEREO)
Released in the States on June 15th 1966 but very quickly recalled due to the reported outcry caused by the graphic design of the album sleeve...
Some albums were sold before the recall came into force, the remainder were rounded up and a less "controversial" cover slick was glued directly over the original.......
What we have for auction is a complete album very very rare!!!
It is made up from a superior Japanese reproduction of the withdrawn sleeve, this is in absolute MINT condition ,front back top and spine , IMMACULATE.
These sleeves are increasingly hard to come by and have been seen to sell for up to £75 just for the sleeve alone on auction sites..
BUT...........
This auction offers much more than this......
Along with the fantastic MINT sleeve comes the ORIGINAL Capitol lime green inner sleeve with the 50 other album advertisments.EX condition
Very sought after..
BUT there's even more!!!!!
To make this package complete I have added the ORIGINAL Capitol rainbow vinyl in stereo which is in EX condition.
