Description
This is a very rare 1st issue UK Apple MONO pressing of Yellow Submarine. Beatles collectors know this is a very hard to find album, especially in this condition. The labels are the dark Apple labels, with “Sold in the UK” text and with red lines above and below the rear cover notes, and a black inner sleeve.
Cat. No. PMC 7070. Matrix: XEX 715-1 & XEX 716-1. Stamper codes: 2/GE & 3/RD.
The cover is in mint (-) condition. There is no edge wear, no spine wear, no corner wear. There is only extremely faint ring impression and minor, extremely faint lamination rubbing, and no yellowing.. Not cover is not far away from full mint, a gorgeous cover.
The labels are in mint (-) condition. There is only extremely faint small spindle marks, detectable only under the brightest sunlight. The labels are not far from mint.
The vinyl is excellent (++), most would rate this near mint. There is no marks or hairlines, and only the faintest paper scuffs visible under bright direct sunlight.
The original black inner sleeve is in excellent condition.
This copy plays in excellent (+) condition. There are near silent run ins with only light crackling and a very few faint pops. There is no nasty pops or click and no skips. This is a very strong, clean playing copy.

This LP was sourced in the UK by a reputable and well-established UK dealer when I acquired my UK collection a number of years ago. It has been played only once since I purchased it to verify condition and just recently once again to prepare this listing. I am now selling off my prized collection of UK albums. The vinyl will be in a non-original protective inner sleeve and the original inner sleeve will be securely packed. The vinyl will not be shipped inside the cover.
