Description
Up for auction is a second state butcher cover copy of Yesterday & Today by The Beatles, released in 1966 on Capitol, cat no T 2553. This is a mono pressing, with RIAA no 6. The “v” of Ringo’s jacket can clearly be seen under the trunk cover, and for additional confirmation, a ½ cm has been carefully peeled back (but not torn!) from the lower left hand corner, revealing the butcher cover underneath. Guaranteed the real deal.
Condition: front & rear has a little staining, marking & general wear, but no writing, tears or serious damage. There is considerable seam splitting, which has been carefully repaired inside the seams (there are no visible repairs to the outside of the cover). VG. No record present, though I can include a VG first pressing of the vinyl for an additional £10 should the lucky winner so desire.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item in pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence! Any questions? Need any more photos or an audio sample? I'm only an email away.
Payment: UK- cheques (preferred) or Paypal. Rest Of World- Paypal. Email for other accepted methods of payment. Shipping: £4 (UK 1st class), £5 (UK recorded) £6.50 (Europe) £9 (rest of world-airmail). Insurance recommended for orders over £25; I am not responsible for parcels that go missing in the post!
