Description
Capitol Records ST 2553, this is an original US stereo pressing - NOT a reissue - of the classic Beatles LP "Yesterday And Today." This copy is a "second state" Butcher cover, as the recalled Butcher jacket is still intact beneath the group photo/trunk slick that was pasted over it; the "V" of Ringo's jacket/black sweater is clearly visible on the right hand side of the jacket. Jacket - which has the number 2 printed next to the RIAA symbol on back - is in excellent condition, showing some minor tanning at edges/back of the jacket, a few stress marks along spine, a hint of ring wear at top and bottom center, and a 1/2" (half inch) area of wear on lower right corner edge. There are no other splits or tears and overall this is a nice, clean copy of this scarce jacket. As a bonus, vinyl is a shiny and clean NM- as well, showing a few minor paper marks. Playback is solid throughout, while labels are crisp with no spindle wear. The best original copy of this Beatles rarity that I have come across in years!! Buyer pays $4.00 media shipping or $9.50 priority in the US, $16.50 airmail overseas. Thanks for looking and good luck!
