BEATLES Please please me/Ask me why (aussie) Parlophone A8080 Grade: around (VG- to) VG (lots of light scuffing but no scratches or serious marks. Very light puckering on one label where sticker has been removed)
BEATLES From me to you/Thank you girl (aussie) Parlophone 8083 VG to VG+ (quite a decent copy light scuffs mostly. Small initials written in pen on flip label)
BEATLES She loves you/I'll get you (aussie) Parlophone A8093 Grade: VG to VG+ (quite nice copy ... light scuffs only and nothing too serious)
(1963 - now very scarce first pressings of earliest Australian Beatles 45s on Purple Parlophone labels that pre-date all other Aussie Beatles singles including the Polydor releases. These ones are in their original sleeves and are quite decent copies. Please note that I've graded these under strong halogen lamp light and while these (2 of them) grade out in the VG to VG+ range when I grade them strictly as such, under normal light they look much cleaner up almost in the EX- range perhaps. Labels are pretty clean and the original plastic Parlophone sleeves are in nice condition. These don't turn up often now in any condition. BTW I have an exceptionally clean (near mint!) Aussie Polydor Beatles 45 I will be listing in a week or so from now) (PS: as per message request - I will put scans of the B side labels up on my word press site sometime in the next day or two. If interested please follow the link below thru to future sales items and the links will be there.)
All records are graded under a strong halogen lamp. I do NOT grade in daylight or use fluoro lighting which makes records look cleaner than they actually are!

GRADING: I use the (U.K.) Record Collector grading system which includes an EX grade. American collectors please note that EX usually equates to a Goldmine VG++. All records are graded under strong light. I have always had a good reputation for grading and usually get it right. If you're not happy with my grading, tell me. I'm happy to refund if you have a genuine complaint. However, don't expect a near mint record if I've graded it F, G or VG... Records are graded for the most part visually only, although most of the lower grades are also play checked, and in many cases play better than they look. The following gradings are used: M, mint condition, unplayed, with no marks on playing surface and labels as new. Records are rare in this condition and it is a grading I rarely use. M-, mint minus, either unplayed, with minimum scuffs caused by paper sleeve, or played once or twice only and still as new. EX, excellent condition, record played carefully, very clean surface, minimum scuffing. (EX+ or EX- means a little better or worse). VG, very good condition, scuffing or signs of groove wear but no bad scratches. (VG+ or VG- means a little better or worse). G, good condition, well played with plenty of scuffs, light scratches and groove wear. F, fair condition, playable but heavily scuffed or scratched, with a lot of surface noise.

About Me

Additional information May 3: Because of a large number of watchers that are showing on this item after a day and a half, and some questions received please note the following info.
A scan of the flip label with writing on it can be found here -
http://chang4pian4.files.wordpress.com/2010/05/img028.jpg
otherwise all labels are pretty clean but there are quite a lot of marks around the spindle holes on the flips indicating these have been played a bit.
I'm going to be conservative on the grades and change them to a straight BEATLES Please please me VG- mild scuff marks over disc BEATLES From me to you VG some small very light scratches and light scuff marks BEATLES She loves you VG to VG+ pretty decent condition with only fairly light scuffs really
I hope this is as accurate as the grading can be and of course I'll refund for anyone who has a genuine concern. Unfortunately I've only been back in Australia a couple of months and don't have a record player yet to play grade stuff. I will say that these singles while not mint, are quite decent copies of quite rare records and they are not scratched up trashed copies but quite ok copies in which the scuffing comes up under strong light but is less obvious under normal light. (Under my computer room light in Korea they looked almost EX.) IMO vinyl records on e-bay are notorious for being under graded by casual sellers and I may be being a bit harsh here, but I'm a long term collector myself so my mind-set on this is somewhat pedantic perhaps.
I've only added this extra info in because I was quite surprised at the number of watchers after a day or so on this listing. This listing started with a 99 cent minimum so bid as you feel is prudent. Anyone who has already bid prior to this additional info, please feel free to retract your bid if this extra info changes your mind. No worries.
