Description

On the Dark Apple label from 1970 (PCS 7096/PXS 1). Here it is Ladies and Gentlemen, one of the rarest Beatles collectables around in fantastic condition. To have a copy of this Box Set with the Book and box intact is very scarce indeed!! This is a genuine first pressing of this album due to the following points: 1. The Apple on the rear sleeve is RED. 2. The label is DARK GREEN as opposed to light. 3. And last but not least the box and book that only came with the first run off the press!!! The sleeve (With the RED Apple logo) is NM due only to some small laminate creasing in the bottom left corner, i mean, even the corners are still sharp!!! The disc (Housed in it's original plain white inner) is NM- due to some light surface marking dotted about. This has no affect on the sound of this disc and the disc still has a stunning shine. This record sounds MINT and plays perfect throughout, crisp and clear with no distortion what-so-ever. The Box is NM- due to a few small laminate creases on the top and bottom edges on the front and on the side edges on the rear. The tray has some wear and very small splits on the inside corners of where the book sits (I assure you, nothing major!!), it also has some creasing on the flaps that fold over the top of the album. The Book is NM++ due to only one small laminate crease on the rear near the edge. Well, after all that, overall this is a EX+/NM- copy of this very rare Beatles item.
