Vinyl has been properly cleaned with D4 Discwasher, played on high-end equipment
and closely reviewed to achieve an honest assessment and grade of condition!
THE BEATLES - Magical Mystery Tour - Capitol SMAL-2835 mono/repro - Issued in 1967
Audible condition = NM-/NM-
Visible condition = NM-/NM-
This Rare original issue Lp has black colorband labels with NO "A Subsidiary Of Capitol Industries Inc", verifying that it is the 1st release. 4 songs were recorded in reprocessed stereo, the rest are in mono. The original 1967 issues were not released in true stereo. There is no booklet included.
The vinyl is glossy with light visible groove wear and NM fidelity. There is 1 very fine hairline surface scratch on side 1, track 3 that produces 4 very mi-nute(almost inaudible) background tic's on the track and the deadwax between track 3 & 4. There is 1 very fine hairline surface scratch on side 2, track 2 that produces 5 very mi-nute(almost inaudible) background tic's, no other visible or audible defects on either side, and no pops or skips.
The labels and white inner sleeve(not original) are NM+ with no stamps, stickers, or writing. The cover is NM- with very faint ring wear, a seam split across the top edge seam, the previous owners name "Hess" written small on the right bottom of the front and the center top of the back in light ink. The spine and other edge seams show very light wear and are fully intact. It is not a reissue or cut-out. Please see photo for song list.
The 2009 Goldmine price guide values it $100 with the booklet and in NM condition, there is no booklet included.
