Description

Beatles--Yesterday And Today--Capitol 2553, stereo. Original 1966 stereo butcher cover, third state, with trunk slick steamed off. This is the Los Angeles cover which used stronger glue to adhere the trunk slick, so it was more difficult to remove. There are some scattered tears, primarily on Paul and Ringo's knees and John's left hand, among others. There is also residue from the trunk slick remaining. Two spots on Paul's hair, one on John's hair, and Capitol logo have been touched up with marker--they can be seen more readily in scans. Bottom seam is split; top seam is split at cover opening 1 1/4"; and spine is split 4" with paper loss. Back cover has some soiling. Even with the flaws, cover presents well and would look good framed. Vinyl is a nice VG+ with high gloss. Labels are very clean. High bidder will pay shipping, as well as insurance and tracking. Overseas winner will pay an additional $11.00 to register this item for delivery. Any questions, please e-mail.
