GRADING

VERY GOOD

Hi, I am (gradually) selling off my extensive record collection for space reasons. Most of my records were bought from new and are graded accurately.

This is 1 of 9  James Brown and related records I am currently selling on ebay now, all ending on 29th December FROM 7.30pm GMT!

You are bidding on a fantastic copy of this VERY hard to find JAMES BROWN classic funk workout. This record has been part of my soul collection and kept in a card/polythene sleeve in a sealed box for 36 years! I am proud to say that all these records in my collection from this era still play WONDERFULLY!

All records are sold CLEAN and every appropriate effort is made with care to present the item in tip top condition. There was a middle piece taped in the centre which I have removed and It’s left a mark as you can see in the pic.

Excellent P&P value considering that stiffeners are used wherever possible for further protection of the record. Where appropriate singles are shipped in "Covers33" custom made mailers.

I take much pride in the accuracy and fairness of my descriptions. These are key reasons as to why I have 100% Positive Feedback. As always you can bid with confidence.

Merry Christmas!

LOOK AT MY OTHER AUCTIONS OF RARE RECORDS FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION

I always use Record Collector gradings as follows:

MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
