Beau, born Christopher John Trevor Midgley, is a British singer-songwriter and twelve-string guitar player, who first became known in the late 1960s through his recordings for John Peel's Dandelion Records label. He released two albums on Dandelion – Beau (1969) and Creation (1971) (which featured Jim Milne and Steve Clayton from Tractor as backing musicians on some tracks), plus the single "1917 Revolution" which had greater success abroad than it did in the United Kingdom. "1917 Revolution" is said to have been the inspiration for America's "A Horse with No Name".
Both record labels are in beautiful Mint Minus condition, bright and undamaged record labels that look new.
Side 1 stamped matrix: SBPG 63751-A1 and Side 2: SBPG 63751-B1
Both sides of the vinyl LP are in immaculate Mint Minus condition, stunningly clean and bright vinyl surfaces to both sides, all that is visible are one or two surface hairlines.
Audio Quality:
The LP plays through all tracks with superb sound quality.
The front laminated picture sleeve is in superb Excellent condition, with mild signs of LP storage and a couple of laminate pinches to the front panel, the edges and spine edge are free from splits and all printed text is clearly legible.
The reverse panel of this sleeve is very clean with just mild handling signs and light rub marks.
