BEAUREGARDE
BEAUREGARDE, OMAR BOSE, DAVE KOLPEL, JAY LUNDELL, ALLEN ROBINSON, GREG SAGE
Beauregarde, a professional wrestler that toured the USA in the late '60s and early '70s,
recorded the album at Sound Productions in Portland with young area musicians.
Greg Sage and Dave Kolpel later figured prominently in The Wipers, another legendary Oregon band.
The album is crude bluesy rock with Beauregarde's heavy-handed, occasionally humerous
vocals to the fore. Sage himself is said to be producing a CD reissue of this rare local album
