Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. MINTY CLEAN ALL OVER ...hard to find this clean, it's a 40 year old pressing in lavish psychedelic gatefold cover..was issued with a different (single) cover in the USA...

And here...is one of the pioneering Psych Progressive albums from the U.K. fronted by the ex-Yardbirds vocalist Keith Relf who formed the band with a vision in mind....the sounds within are very advanced for 1968...

Following the break-up of The Yardbirds in early 1968 drummer Jim McCarty and guitarist/vocalist Keith Relf formed Together, an acoustic based group. This short lived then became Renaissance in early 1969 with the addition of John Hawken (keyboard), Louis Cennamo (bass) and Jane Relf (vocal). Musically, this debut album has significant contribution in laying strong foundation of progressive rock music altogether with King Crimson, ELP, Yes, Genesis and Pink Floyd. Renaissance has its own identity than the others. This debut album sets an important milestone for Renaissance music direction in the future. Jane Relf's vocals are not really always in the foreground: other musicians also sing on this album. The lead & backing vocals are interesting though. This record is definitely keyboard oriented: when there is piano or harpsichord passages the album sounds quite classical baroque. On the first side, it is a bit strange to hear an outstanding first baroque part, followed by a rhythmic piano rock ballad containing harmonica a la Zappa, and finally finished with a minimalist psychedelic passage. For sure, the album, like their next one, has some psychedelic influences. The best moment is definitely the progressive part on Innocence: very structured and delightful! For 1969, this record is really avant-garde and ahead of its time!

CONDITION: The cover: fragile UK gatefold cover is beautiful, rated M- front cover and  "EX" (excellent) back cover ...altogether, very stiff and sound with fresh colors ...an absolute collection addition, upgrade - not usually available this clean ...no delete marks, no bends, no writing and no split seams ...

The vinyl: Clean and glossy over both sides, rated M- TOP COPY very enjoyable CLEAN audio, NO distracting surface problems ... both UK Island labels are clean
