BEETHOVEN NINE SYMPHONIES BRUNO WALTER COLUMBIA D7S 610

Beethoven's Nine Symphonies in a lovely Boxed Set on the "360 sound" Columbia label, catalog # D7S 610. The box contains 7 LPs containing Beethoven's Nine Symphonies conducted by Bruno Walter. Many consider these stereo recordings to be the definitive recordings and performances. You could spend hundreds of dollars collecting them all on their original "6 eye" labels, but we all know how hard they are to find in good shape. That's why this set is such a great deal.

All 7 LPs are in VG condition and having some paper scuffs, but definitly no scratch. This issue was the last time that the Bruno Walter Stereo Columbia recordings were issued on LP with the original artwork....plus these 60's pressings sound GREAT. The box is in excellent shape. Also included are Beethoven reader booklet and a fold out poster of Bruno Walter.

Grading abbreviations are as follows:

Mint ~ The record is in shrink wrap and has never been opened or played

NM ~ The record appears as new condition with perhaps one spindle mark and no marks on the vinyl. Vinyl has original gloss.

VG+ ~ May have some surface marks or slight scratches that would not effect play quality. Appears to have been played but well looked after with still glossy vinyl.

VG ~ Has some marks that may sound upon play or produce surface noise. Vinyl may not appear very glossy. May have groove wear that effects sound quality.

VG- ~ Scratches and/or scuffs produce sound. May have lost vinyl gloss and have many spindle marks. May have extensive groove wear.
