Description
Beethoven Piano Concerto No.3. Julius Katchen with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Pierino Gamba. Decca SXL 2106. stereo. 1958. This is an original issue , first version (ED1) Decca wide band label with groove and "Original Recording By.." at 10 o'clock on the rim text. INcludes original printed poly lined inner bag.
This was the original issue label for this album.
The dead wax run out groove matrices end with "3W" and "8W".
Condition: Great playing album. Sleeve looks clean and bright, just some small seam creases and one solitary tear, approx 1 cm long on rear lip. Graded EX- (just reduced slightly for the "nick" on rear)LP itself is great with clean unworn playing surfaces. Just one solitary hazy surface scuff of short length and no effect on play. Graded EX+
