very rare German first press vinyl 2LP box set released in the early 1960s on DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) stereo labels with large tulips and catalognumbers 138002 and 138003. The beautiful deep red clothbound box with gold imprint lettering complete with heavy booklet, and vinyl all in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - fantastic copy! Famous Beethoven performances by Ferenc Fricsay conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra feat. Irmgard Seefried, Maureen Forrester, Ernst Haefliger, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau recorded with true audiophile soundquality ...see photo.
