Description
These records are from my collection of more than 20,000 classical music LPs, acquired since the early 1960s. All the records have been catalogued, carefully graded and stored on shelves. I am very fussy about condition and my records are either Ex+ or NM and come with a full guarantee.
The complete Beethoven Piano Sonatas on 13 early plum & silver pressings.
Recorded over a span of 5 years - between 1962 and 1967 - these records reflect the label (and catalogue numbering)
changes Philips made throughout the period. Accordingly, only a few of the earliest issues in the series exist in Hi-Fi Stereo
versions and Philips continued to use Hi-Fi Stereo sleeves when the logo had disappeared from the record labels.
In the listing below the original European catalogue numbers will be given in parenthesis after the UK codes, but since
Philips belatedly decided to give the UK its own code, two of the early issues lack the SAL designation.
NB Ebay only allow 12 pictures, so 11 of the 13 record labels are shown.

COVERS: EX+ / EX some mottling on reverse of sleeves due to age, a little handwriting, one or two light creases
and a small stain on one. Overall very fine condition considering their age (45 years or more).

GRADING:
NM (near mint): Looks as new. No marks or scratches. Seldom played with few, if any, spindle marks on the label.
EX+: No significant marks or scratches. May have light paper scuffs and non-sounding hairlines. Very few spindle marks on the label.
EX: We rarely list items in this category, which may show more signs of wear and have heavier marks and scuffs, but no serious flaws that might compromise sound quality. Still a fine copy.

All records are guaranteed against audible faults (unless described) on a refund/replace basis, if notified within 14 days of receipt.
A 100% refund will be issued on receipt of the returned record /records.
