Description
And here you have the one and (probably) only opportunity to get the whole thing at one go - a complete set the legendary east-german recordings of the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, conducted by Franz Konwitschny in pristine condition (these albums were bought all at once back in 1965, spent the next 50 years in the same record cabinet - and I haven't the heart to separate them now). They're all first pressings from 1964 on the highly sought after petrol/white STEREO Eterna label. Every record is absolutely flawless, it looks like they were hardly ever been played. The outer sleeves are still in the original plastic jackets they were sold with and accordingly in optimal shape - even the somewhat delicate fold out cover of 825 106-107 is almost as new.
In detail you bid for:
- Eterna 825 100 (Symphonies No.1 op.21 + No.8 op.93)
- Eterna 825 101 (Symphony No.3 op.55 "Eroica")
- Eterna 825 102 (Symphony No.4 op.60)
- Eterna 825 103 (Symphony No.5 op.67)
- Eterna 825 104 (Symphony No.6 op.68 "Pastorale")
- Eterna 825 105 (Symphony No.7 op.92)
- Eterna 825 106-107 (Symphonies No.2 op.36 + No.9 op.125)
