Beggars Opera Pathfinder UK Vertigo Swirl 6360 073 1972 EX. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
This is your chance to own an original 1972 first pressing of the Beggars Opera Pathfinder vinyl LP on the Vertigo swirl series label, 6360 073.
Condition is Used.
This record has been kept in a cool dry cupboard and un-played for well over 40 years having been purchased by me in the 1970s and then carried off to university and subsequent houses in a record box.
I have not played it, to check track quality, as I no longer have a respectable turntable fearing that one of today's modern USB record decks would act more like a plastic milling machine. My comments below are therefore based on a close visual inspection only. I have not cleaned the disc.
Disc:
Side A:
The Vertigo Swirl label is in good condition with only slight, minimal, rubbing to the central spindle hole and a few light spindle rub marks.
The disc surface is in excellent visual condition with no visible scratches. There is some slight surface dust and only a few fingerprints together with some light dirt marks. The Matrix / Runout is stamped 6360073 1v//1?420 1 1 5 with a further 04 elsewhere on the runout
Side B:
The label is in good condition with no rubbing to the central spindle hole and only slight spindle rub marks.
The disc surface is in excellent visual condition with no visible scratches. There is some surface dust and a few partial fingerprints close to the edge. The Matrix / Runout is stamped 6360073 2v//1?420 1 1 5 with a further 04 elsewhere on the runout

Sleeve:
The original sleeve does not have the vertigo swirl printing is in good overall condition with no creases or rips and only slight age related brown discoloration to edges.
Cover:
The foldout poster cover is in good condition with no labels, impression marks or writing. The cardboard is smooth, clean and "crisp" with only minimal rubbing and wear to the bottom fold edges and corners. The rear surface of the fold out cover has age related brown discolouration to the fold areas, see photograph .
Please inspect the photographs carefully.
For shipping I will place the record in plastic wrapping and pack in double stiff corrugated packaging.
