Harry Belafonte, Belafonte At Carnegie Hall - The Complete Concert, RCA LSO-6006. Year of release is 1959. Dead wax numbers for all four sides are chronologically as follows: 12S, 10S, 13S, 17S. Records both visually and play grade in beautiful near mint condition. The labels are near new and virtually track free. The spindle holes are virgin appearing. The records are accompanied by the original plastic lined RCA sleeves which are near mint and with all split free edges (See images below). A few nearly inaudible light clicks can be heard on Side 1. Sides 2 and 4 have only the slightest noise in the nature of clicks (the kind that static electricity can cause) at the very beginning that last for a half minute or so. Side 3 is perfect. Everything I have mentioned are the only flaws whatsoever. Accordingly, 99.9% of the album plays dead silent. The records are truly audiophile material. The entire LP sounds like a Mobile Fidelity half speed. The detail and definition of the handclapping and the quietness of Belafonte's soft voice with the noiseless magnificent RCA tracking makes listening to this piece absolutely sensational. You can hear Belafonte frequently breathe throughout the album. If you have an excellent audiophile sound system, you will think that he is actually in the room! The jacket is in nice VG++ condition. There is only near microscopic spotting on the fully laminated front and back covers. There is a minor corner crunch in the lower right corner of the front cover that extends through the gatefold to the lower left corner of the back cover. The inner gatefold is slick and unsoiled.
