Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment. All unsealed LPs cleaned with Spin-Clean record cleaning system.
Riverside MONO vinyl LP 476 - released 196?
NM vinyl retains like new shine and gloss with no play or handling marks. Vinyl has some pressing dimples. Like someone In Love (track 3, side 2) has wax pressing anomaly (see photo) and a few ticks. Otherwise, play test on NAD C555 turntable revealed rich, vivid analogue sound. VG+ cover has light shelf wear, small stub upper left corner, some edge wear, and border discoloration consistent with age. Bill Evans and Orrin Keepnews provide jacket notes.
