Description
BEN s/t, UK Vertigo 6360052. Prog jazz rock from 1971 on spiral Vertigo with red glasses! Superb copy of this rare and great LP.
Prog monster originally on the Vertigo label. Released in 1971 the album fell on deaf ears but is in fact a classic slab of progressive jazz rock with above average instrumental ability.
Long tracks with a concept based on "growing up". Ranks alongside Dr Z as a lost prog monster.

A note on grading: I use the RC standard grading policy with the addition of a + or – to denote a slight increase or decrease in grade. The record has been played once for aural grading a on a Rega RP6 with a Rega Exact cart and inspected under 100W bulb for visual grade.
DISC is EXCELLENT plus, has a couple of ultra light sleeve-removal hairlines, seen only under strong light. Plays superbly EXCELLENT to EXCELLENT plus from A to Z. Razor sharp sound.
