There are two recording sessions on this LP. Side A features Bennie Green on trombone, Charlie Rouse on tenor, Cliff Smalls on piano, Paul Chambers on bass, Osie Johnson on drums and Candido Camero on conga. SIDE A: SOMETIMES I’ M HAPPY; LAURA; BODY AND SOUL and HAY, JACK! This was recorded on June 10, 1955. Side B inclues the same personnel, but without Candido. SIDE B: ONE TRACK; GROOVIN’ THE BLUES (Take 1); GROOVIN’ THE BLUES (Take 2) TRAV’LIN LIGHT and HI-YO SILVER. This was recorded on September 22, 1955. This is a Mono recording.
I’ve rated this LP as NM for the following reasons. The vinyl is clean of any marks on both sides. There is no sign of wear on either side of the spindle hole. The record jacket is in excellent condition. There is a little sign of wear on the lower left corner. There is a smudge on the liner notes and a spot where the original sticker was located.
