This is a rare, vintage boxed set of A Symposium of Swing from RCA Victor Records. The set was purchased by my mother in the 1940’s.

The boxed set contains 4-78rpm records (36205-36208) three of the records are in excellent condition, the fourth is broken (see pictures). I have played the three unbroken records and the sound is OUTSTANDING. The records actually play better than some of the records I own from the sixties and seventies.

The case has some signs of wear on the edges, but the spine is in great shape. This is a rare and hard to find RCA Victor Records Box Set Collectible.

The records that are in outstanding condition include:

C 28-1 Sing, Sing, Sing-Fox trot part one,

C 28-2 Sing, Sing, Sing –Fox Trot – part 2;

C 28-3 Honey Suckle Rose – Fox Trot,

C 28-4 Blue, Turning Grey over you –Fox Trot;

C 28-5 Stop, Look and Listen –Fox Trot,

C 28-6 Beale Street Blues – Fox Trot.

The broken record is C 28 -7 and C 28-8 (26208) and features the songs The Prisoner’s Song-Fox Trot and I can’t get started- Fox Trot.
