Bergþóra Árnadóttir (1948 - 2007) was an Icelandic Folk Song composer and singer. Many of her songs were built around the lyrics of Icelandic poets. In the mid 1970s, she hosted and performed in one of Icelandic TVs first music shows Kvartett Guðmundar Steingríms.

This album comes with two inserts; a 4 page fold-out insert with lyrics and liner notes in Icelandic and single page insert in English. Björk Guðmundsdóttir ( ex-Sugarcubes ) contributes background vocals on two tracks.

Original Icelandic vinyl; this copy has been signed by Bergthora on the front; "Til Marie og Lasse med * fra Bergthora"!
