Description
78 RPM 7" single sided shellac disc by E. BERLINER GRAMOPHONE
"Casey's Address To The G.A.R. " by
GEORGE GRAHAM NOTE: NAME IS HAND ETCHED
grooved side has NO Recording Angel"~ is stamped 0717 U
additional hand etched numbering is as follows:
just to the right of the center hole appears to be a/c
also, right after Patent stamper is etched 11/9/99
B side is blank with no stamping or etching
CONDITION:
substantial wear,rubs, some marks,scratches & needle drop marks
& a bit of lite "wavyness" at rim ( please see pix)
( + a couple of primitive pressing imperfections/tiny dimples)
B side has a couple of lite marks & lite rubs/scuffs
plays throughout,but, with substantial competitive surface noise/ surface crackle
and quite a few noticeable clicks ~ but, no skips or jumps
(sorry, no paper sleeve)
OBSERVATION NOTE
looks like the abbreviaation used for February as part of the patent dates
was : Feb'y ( never seen before ~ not sure if it was standard practice in the 1800's)
