Symphonie Fantastique
You are bidding on original & scarce REFERENCE RECORDINGS RR-11 (Gatefold/2-45rpm LP’s) Symphonie Fantastique composed by Hector BERLIOZ & performed by the Utah Symphony, conducted by Varujan Kojian. This superb audiophile recording by Keith Johnson has demonstration quality dynamics & unbelievable low frequency impact. It is most deserved as a selection of the Baker’s Dozen (Top 12) on the TAS List (Absolute Sound/HP). Records are NEAR MINT (appear unplayed) & gatefold jacket is also NM. Highly recommended!
This record comes from a inherited collection of most audiophile jazz and classical that my father spent his entire adult life putting together. All I want is for these records to end up in the hands of someone who will appreciate them. Please message me if you're interested in seeing a list of all the records.
Because of the number of records involved, I can only grade discs and jackets visually. I grade conservatively but realistically: the highest grade I will give an unsealed disc whose surfaces are pristine and unmarked is NM. A NM- grade indicates a disc with very minor visible evidence of use (usually a minor scuff or light scratch ) that should not seriously interfere with audition and may well be inaudible.
