BERT JANSCH

Jack Orion (Transatlantic TRA 143) 1966

 

Here’s a lovely UK original of this Gothic folk masterpiece, which also features John Renbourn. It’s easily my favourite of Jansch’s 60s LPs, and also the rarest.

 

SLEEVE

The thin, smooth laminated sleeve is in VG+ shape, with some laminate cracking to the left hand edge (common to this album). There are no rips, splits or writing.

 

VINYL

The glossy disc is in VG+ to EX shape, with hairlines and minor marks. It sounds beautiful on my Pro-Ject deck.
