PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING (OR NOT BIDDING!): copy has some issues--flat cover spine ok but top & bottom split 3/4 of the length of the jacket. side one has the least amt of scratches & plays best but still some bckgd noise...side two has more scratches, more bckgd noise & a label/sticker rip...overall, I'd say that there's noticable bkgd noise on 80-85% of the vinyl...however....this is/was an extremely well-recorded & well-pressed LP & even when there's krackle, her vocals come thru loud clear & unblemished...all that said: this is a listenable fill-in copy of an extremely rare LP...if you are an audiophile collector who demands perfect fidelity from their listening experiences....I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT BID ON THIS....however, play-tested it completely & there were no skips, an occasional light pop but even w/the bckgd noise, listenable & certainly a valued fill-in copy...
a few years back, I bought a collection of mostly female jazz singers from a radio station mostly from the late 50s to the early 60s--I held on to most of these until now---most are rare--some are promos--check my other auctions for some exciting finds that don't come up every day!
