Description
I AM CLEARING OUT SOME COLLECTIBLE VINYL - ALL IN EXCELLENT PLAYABLE CONDITION. PLEASE SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS.
Back in 1967 I made a big mistake and got rid of all my mono albums and replaced them with stereo. Fortunately at the time I also decided to keep the vinyl in good order and all my records have been played just a few times on a transcription turntable - I recorded them on to cassette or mini disc to listen to.
SO HERE YOU ARE BIDDING FOR AN AS-NEW COPY OF...
"WHY THE LONG FACE"
BY BIG COUNTRY
***WHY THE LONG FACE? I'LL TELL YOU WHY - Currently unavailable anywhere. Nobody knows when or if this item will be back in stock.
THIS IS THE MEGA RARE FIRST AND ONLY PRESSING ON CASTLE Numbered Copy 1176 of only 3000. HEAVYWEIGHT GATEFOLD COVER AND DISC LABEL WITH THE DOGS FACE***
CASTLE RECORDS TRALP 109 GAS 0000109 TRL in GATEFOLD SLEEVE - 1995 0riginal - owned by me from new.
Record - records looks like new - only played once to create a minidisc to play and save the vinyl from wear - not actually tested as I no longer own a turntable
Labels - like new - one with dogs face
Sleeve - like new - gatefold with original Limited Edition silver sticker
Booklet/inserts - none
This is one of my favourite LPs ever - probably the best Big Country album ever. It was their seventh album and released on an indie label (which is why this copy is so rare).
