BIG STAR #1 Record IN ORIG. SHRINK - 1st Us Press - Ardent Records ADS-2803

The information about #1 Record in the Jovanovic book and noticed that Nix said they had to supply three different pressing plants with two sets of masters (presumably one set for each side of the record). In the book, Nix says that Chris Bell and Andy Hummel were writing/drawing different things in the deadwax on each master...with Bell accidentally destroying one cut by dropping a tool on it after etching a star in the dead wax. (Apparently this came after several failed attempts to get the mastering just right, so presumably the "-1" and "-2" cuts were trashed.) Indeed, there may be three different cuts out there in circulation from that mastering session...one for each pressing plant. If so, then perhaps the cut with "steamroller creations" and "prudence" is the third cut from the original mastering session. (SEE INFO LINK BELOW)
Vinyl - VG+ - Slightly more signs of careful use, but not enough to cause skips/hops, maybe light crackle here and there in quieter parts
COVER - Near Mint - still an original shrink And its been a plastic Sleeve. Hole Punch on front Sticker on back
The cover has no wear , No bends, or creases or writing on it, strong spine, no seam splits, No Ring wear (SEE PHOTOS)
