VERY RARE - NORTHERN SOUL - BILL "BASS" GORDON - "TWO LOVES HAVE I/ BRING MY BABY BACK" - GEE - 1954
This is an original recording released by GEE Records in 1954. The matrix numbers in the deadwax are: TTR-511-45 for "Two Loves Have I", and TTR-512-45 for "Bring My Baby Back". This is one of the more highly sought after vocal group harmony records. How many times have you seen a yellow and green GEE label 45? I understand that only 3 records have been released on this 45 label! I have not seen this record since 2010, other than repro's! The record has been in my personal collection since the 1970's. The 2015 Edition of Jerry Osborne's Rockin' Records values this record at $1000-$1500.
