THIS IS A RARE ORIGINAL VINYL COPY OF THE BILL DIXON ORCHESTRA'S "INTENTS AND PURPOSES"
ON RCA VICTOR FROM 1967.

Here's an accurate (maybe overly-detailed, but with vinyl like this, it's worth getting into, 'cause it ain't perfect but it is very scarce) description of the condition of the record.

Front cover: The face of the front cover is in very good shape (and what appears to be record wear coming through is actually the faint outline of Dixon's hair and beard in the cover photo; see photo below). There is around 1/4" of scotch tape running down the left side where it has been folded over from repairing the spine, which was torn.

Rear cover: The rear cover has a small tear at the top of the left-hand side, and three yellowish age discolorations that run down the far left side (see photo). Naturally there's a bit of scotch tape; same as described above. The rest of the rear cover is in very clean shape; some dulling from 44 years of aging, but nice.

The LP: Side 1 of the LP is in VG - - condition. There are surface scratches, but it is clean, shiny, and plays amazingly well (see photo below). Side 2 is in slightly better shape and plays even better, very clean even during the quiet passages, of which there are many. The record still has plenty of shine and the label is perfect on both sides. It's really a very nice RCA Victor "Dynagroove" 60's pressing, nice and solid (not like the very thin and "flippy" Dynagroove pressings that were used in the mid-to-late 1970's). In short, the record sounds great.

I've been off of eBay for a while, but am back and will be selling a lot of great records (mostly rock, southern soul, and Jamaican-press reggae 45's). My feedback is 100% great. I love the music, but just need the dough.
