Description

BILL EVANS TRIO Waltz for Debby, Riverside 9399, stereo, US 1961, G+/G+.

Sadly abused original pressing of this classic.

G+ cover very beat-up. split bottom seam, taped spine, bad water damage on rear corner. See pictures.

G+ to VG- vinyl has scuffs/ hairlines/ some scratches and a warp which doesn't affect play. Side 2 looks more like VG+. To make matters worse, when cleaning this, I noticed a small edge crack. Luckily it is so small and tight that it doesn't affect play. Would benefit from a vacuum-clean but actually plays OK (with surface noise, crackles) and fidelity is still excellent (in fact, I thought there was someone drinking from a glass in the next room- it was actually an Evans-watcher, back in '61). Mostly plays VG or better.

Please fear not when buying from me- I worked at a record shop for years, so I know how to grade records; and I've been buying through the mail for even longer, so I know how to package them as well...
Note: U.S. POSTAGE RATES HAVE GONE UP! (alas) Ignore what Ebay says...
Postage: 12": US $5/ Can/Mex $15/ World $20. 7": US: $3/ Can/Mex $10/ World $15.
If you are in ITALY, FRANCE or GREECE, you may have to pay extra for registered shipping. Sorry; notorious mail services. Same is true if you have NO/ FEW/ BAD feedback(s).
And yes, I will separate record from cover when packaging (unless sealed).

Gradings based on M/ NM/ EX(i.e. VG++)/ VG+/ VG/ VG- etc... Please pay within 3 DAYS, or contact me if you need more time to do so.

I will leave you feedback after i know that you are happy with your purchase.

Thanks for looking.
