Description
This is a original copy of The Bill Evans Trio "Portrait In Jazz" LP on Riverside. This is a mono pressing with the original blue/silver "small" Riverside logo. Yes, it has the "deep groove" but I'm not aware this matters for anything but Blue Note LPs
Condition: the jacket is in superb condition showing only light general wear aside from the lower right corner which does show some dog-earing at the tip and light creases. Edges and corners are nice and sharp except for lower right and the only noticeable edge wear is on the bottom (which is still on the lighter side of edge wear).
Visually the vinyl is VG++, very clean with high gloss and superb labels. There are very, very few marks of any kind on either side and they are all very light and superficial. There are three small hairline scratches on side 1 through the last half of track 1 and the first half of track 2 that might be a touch beyond superficial, but I honestly could not tell they made any noise above and beyond the surface noise anywhere else on the album. Both sides play beautifully with only light surface noise which seems to be more audible at the beginning of each side.
